What is the Crown & Root Society?
The Crown & Root Society is our exclusive membership program designed to keep your sew-ins flawless while protecting the health of your natural hair. Members enjoy discounted monthly maintenance services, priority access to bookings, and the peace of mind that comes with consistent, professional care. Enrollment is limited and opens only once per month, making it a true VIP experience for clients who want both beauty and healthy growth beneath their extensions.
What services are included in the membership?
Memberships cover sew-in maintenance only—specifically one Cleanse & Style per month (Leave-Out) or one Closure Adjustment per month (Closure). Wig installs, wig styling, and other services are not included. Only for clients with installs by L.A. Hair Palace!
Do I need a consultation before joining?
Yes. A consultation is required to ensure your hair is in good condition for an install. This helps us customize your maintenance plan and protect your natural hair.
Can I use my membership credit for something else if I don’t come that month?
No. Membership services do not roll over. Think of it as a “use it or lose it” system designed to keep your sew-ins consistently maintained.
What if I want more than one maintenance service in a month?
Additional maintenance services are available at regular a la carte pricing and can be booked anytime. Your membership covers only one service per month.
How does billing work?
Membership fees are auto-drafted on the 1st of each month. This guarantees your spot and keeps your rate locked in.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. All memberships require a 6-month minimum commitment. This ensures consistency in your sew-in care and healthy hair results.
What happens if I need to cancel my membership early?
Early cancellations are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Membership fees are otherwise non-refundable.
What happens when all 25 spots are filled?
Once The Crown & Root Society is full, the only way in is through our waitlist. New spots only open when a current member steps down!

That’s okay—memberships aren’t for everyone. If you choose not to continue after your 6-month commitment, you can return to booking sew-in maintenance at regular a la carte pricing. Membership gives you savings and priority while you’re enrolled, but there’s no pressure to remain after your term is complete. Early cancellation fees may apply!
